An update on Lunacy III.  We currently have 32 players signed up for this event.  Remember the cap is 45 so if you’d like to play please sign up soon.  Registration is available Sundays at Church league.  This weeks Church will be at Loomiller at 10am.  For more information either read the original post or contact me at pmarley@yahoo.com.

After 11 years of service it’s time for a change.  I thank you all for the oppurtunity to run this club.  To the Wicklund family who installed Loomiller that allowed Dave and I the oppurtunity to start a club, thank you!  To all the club members who over the year helped to promote disc golf in Longmont, thank you!  And finally to the city of Longmont that supported the club for the installation of the Centennial course, thank you!  I hope you all appreciate the hard work of a lot of people who brought you these courses.  With that said it’s time for new administration, are you interested? If interested in helping let me know.

Well one more week to go.  Thanks to everyone who has been coming out.  Hope you’ve been enjoying it! Pretty tight race for third good luck to you all.

I wanted to give an update on our 18 hole course at Dry Creek Park next to Silvercreek High School.  Construction began on the first phase about two months ago which includes a disc golf course.  Expected opening is Spring of 2013.  For those who don’t know the club was involved in numerous meeting’s about this new 80 acre park being constructed.  We were approved for an 18 hole course that will be very very long.  Many holes are slated to be over 500 feet.

Below is the updated list I have of people who told me they’re coming.  If your name is on the list I ordered food for you so I expect payment or the club will get stuck with it. Don’t do that.  Any other folks who want to come please let me know asap I can add you.

The party will be held Sunday August 21st at Dave’s house next to Centennial.  The party is open to all club members and there family/significant others.  We will have lunch provided for a fee.  If you wish to participate in the food part of the party cost will be $10 per person.  Event’s of the day will include a round of golf with prizes and stuff starting at 10am Centennial park.  Lunch around noon,  awards, and ring of fire.    Any questions or comment please email me at psherek@lpdgc.com

Hello everyone!  Well it was a bit of a crazy round with the weather once again being a factor.  Keeping everyone safe is a big concern of mine and with the lightning overhead it seemed necessary to take a break.  In the end I hope we all had a good time.  Even Jen!!!  Check out the updated scores on the League standings page.
